Right to Know
Right to know Request Form
Pennsylvania's Right-to-Know Law (RTKL) grants public access to government records, with a presumption that all records are public unless an agency can prove an exemption. The law promotes transparency and accountability, and if a request is denied, the agency must justify why the record is not public. The Pennsylvania Office of Open Records provides guidance and handles appeals when agencies deny records.
